COVID-19 UPDATE

What is Trappers Lake Lodge doing to stop the spread of the Coronavirus?

To ensure the health and safety of our guests and our staff, Trappers Lake Lodge is committed to training all staff members and to implementing strict sanitizing and cleaning procedures to address COVID-19.  We care deeply about the health and well-being of all of our guests and our staff.  We welcome guests to bring face masks, hand sanitizer, and personal sleeping bags to fit each guest’s personal comfort for practicing safety.  Until social distancing and the regulations set forth by Governor Polis have changed, we will expect our cleaning staff to use proper hand washing practices, keep a 6 foot distance, and  wear gloves and face masks when cleaning, and interacting with guests.

The Lodge Protocol

As you may know, Governor Polis issued the Safer at Home guidelines on April 26th. At this time restaurants are still permitted to stay open for takeout, delivery, and drive-through, which means we will be offering takeout and curb-side dining from The Lodge.

However, the Governor is hopeful that restaurants will be able to re-open for limited capacity dine-in activities around May 15, so long as the data does not show an increased spread of the virus following the implementation of the Safer at Home guidelines.

With this being said, we will do our best to inform you on Colorado State guidelines to keep you and TLL staff safe.

Cabin Protocol

Between every guest stay, our trained cleaning staff will be taking extra precautions to ensure that all high touch surfaces and high traffic areas in the cabins are sanitized and disinfected to meet the guidelines set forth by DORA and the CDC. All sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and towels will be washed with a disinfectant after each guests’ stay; should guests feel more comfortable with bringing their own sleeping bag, we will prepare the cabin with only a sanitized sheet. Please give us a 1 week advance notice to properly prepare your cabin.

Cabin Outdoor Furniture & Fire Pits

Between every guest stay, our trained cleaning staff will be taking extra precautions to ensure that all high touch surfaces and high traffic areas in the fire-pit, chairs, and picnic tables are sanitized and disinfected to meet the guidelines set forth by DORA and the CDC.

Bath House Protocol

Every hour one of our trained cleaning staff will be thoroughly sanitizing the men’s and women’s rooms in the Bathhouse to meet the guidelines set forth by DORA and the CDC. This will include refilling hand soaps and paper goods, emptying the trash, and airing out the rooms. Twice daily our trained cleaning staff will be deep cleaning both the men’s and the women’s rooms in the Bath House.
