Hike the many trails in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area. Marvel at some of the largest elk herds in North America. Enjoy guided horseback rides deep into the wilderness. Our horses and wranglers are well trained and patient, especially important for the first timer. Fish in the many streams or rent a boat or canoe and enjoy Trappers Lake, the second largest natural lake in Colorado.
For a memorable wilderness experience, we'll guide you on horseback to one of our camps near the many glacial lakes on the Flat Tops. Fish for native (cut-throat) and brook trout that abound in these lakes. We'll establish your tent site, supply your camp and check on you daily. Otherwise, you'll enjoy the solitude and scenery of a lifetime.
Or you can "hang out" at the lodge, play horseshoes, volleyball or cards, read, nap or simply enjoy a walk among the wildflowers surrounded by breathtaking views, crystal clear lakes and streams, fresh air and brilliant skies, or enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub.
